Hello, I am Sherry Felix the owner of Celebration Getaways. I am a small travel agency in the rural area of St Louis Missouri. I have been a travel advisor for 4 years.  I love to travel and always wanted to teach friends how to travel stress free and build itineraries that are  custom to desire and budget. I live for unique experiences and off the beaten path tours. I have traveled to 42 of 50 USA states  and including Alaska and Hawaii, and logged over 100,000 miles of solo USA travel.

I have traveled extensively in  Hawaii, the Caribbeans and Mexico. I have first hand experience with staying at Luxury resorts such as Sandals Resorts in Jamaica, Bahamas and Antiuga and Beaches Negril. In the Dominican Republic I have enjoyed Karisma , AMResort and RIU and Royalton properties

In 2022 I took 3 solo cruises, 2 of which emabarked  from Miami circling the Caribbeans to islands of St Kitt, St Maarten, Aruba, Grand Cayman, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Puert Plata, and Cozumel all on Carnival Cruise line.

I won a Royal Caribbean Cruise  that embarked from the new Galveston Royal Caribbean  terminal Dec 2022 and headed to Cozumel Mexico.  Fun time with my peers in the industry. 

My dream cruise was from Seattle through the inner channel To Alaska where I was in awe of the wild life and marine life.  When you go, be sure to take the helicopter ride to the glaciers! Pack your binoculars because I saw amazing marine life right from my balcony! This cruise makes stops in Canada.

My 2022 adventure trips that were the most amazing were  staying in 3 different regions and touring Costa Rica with stays at Secrets, Marriott  and Hilton with a private tour guide to explore. We toured coffee plantations, did city tours  that included food demos, dance and history. My favorite, white water rafting in Guanacaste rural areas. I set up a private plane ride to San Jose for the the second half of our stay seeking to see city tours in San Jose, then we moved over to the beach for more adventures. As a bird watcher, the parrots were exciting.

I ended  2022 with an exciting work trip sponsored by Melia International hotels in Cartagena Colombia.  The private city tour and evening sunset catamaran ride was fantastic.

In March/April of 2023 I will be traveling to Hungary for a 3 day guided tour and  conference and then a river cruise on the Amawaterways AmaViola to Vilshofin.

From Vilshofin we will have 3 days to explore Germany to Amsterdam by rail before emabarking our second river cruise from Amsterdam to Belgium for Tulip time before flying home.This 26 day Europe travel  with a co worker will be the journey of a life time for me.  I have always wanted to make it to Amsterdam to see the gardens!

I earned specialist certificates in most of these destinations before I traveled there.  My goal is to earn certifications and  professional skills to benefit my clients.

In 2022 I helped  2 couples plan and get married in destination as well as one couple plan for a Christmas 2023 wedding in Mexico. I book honeymoon romantic getaways and celebrations  weekly. I enjoy working with  GROUP TRAVEL and my favorite suppliers Karisma Resorts and Vacation Express.
