Hi, I'm Julie. For over 18 years now I have been working as a Firefighter and EMT. You probably didn't expect to read that, did you? Well, I am not like other travel professionals. Being a first responder is the reason I developed a love for travel. I have had the opportunity to work internationally, in multiple states as well as on disaster missions.  

I came to find that during my down time, I was always reading travel blogs, destination guides, restaurant reviews and everything in between. Planning the finest details of a trip was my passion. Upon hearing this, a retired travel agent friend encouraged me to share what I knew with my friends. I found that I enjoyed planning their trips. This led me to officially form Postcard Getaways. As a remote business, there's no need to worry about reaching me during office hours or at an office at all! 

As your personal travel adviser, I will provide you with the same professionalism, dedication and service that has been instilled in me as a first responder. I provide exclusive one-on-one service, in-depth planning, and personal support for all of my clients, tailored to your individual need and comfort level.
