COUNTRIES VISITED:Alberta
PLACES VISITED:Banff
SUGGESTED DURATION:5 Days
In this trip you will spend 5 days in Banff, Alberta, Canada. There are a few tips I want to touch on. 1. start early! Banff is a very busy area, especially during the summer months. The earlier you start, the less people that will be around and the more you will be able to experience. 2. Book your park tickets online ahead of time to save waiting in line when you drive into the park. The pass is good for the surrounding parks as well! 3. You cannot drive to Moraine Lake therefore you will need to reserve a shuttle ahead of time and I mean WELL ahead of time. You can however drive up to Lake Louise but the parking lot will fill up by 8-9am.

Arrival day
Fly into Calgary, rent a vehicle and drive approximately 2 hours to Moraine Lake. Take the Moraine Lake shuttle bus at 4pm. Enjoy the lake and amenities like canoe, coffee shop and gift shopping. Take the 730p shuttle bus back to your vehicle. Drive to Check in at the Hotel in Banff, Canmore or Lake Louise Village. My recommendation is The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
