Head to Sebastian's for breakfast. This is a great option to stay at if Long Bay Beach Resort is outside your budget. After breakfast, head to Cane Garden Bay. It is a horseshoe shaped bay located on the north shore of the island and has one of the most popular beaches on Tortola. At the beach, there are lounge chairs and umbrellas set up everywhere. It is usually very crowded and busy as the cruise ships dock nearby. There are boats, jet-skis and kayaks to rent. Weekdays are best. Have lunch at Pusser's at Myett's and/or a drink at Rhymer's Bar on the beach. You can also visit the Callwood Rum Distillery – it’s a working distillery and you can even sample the rum!Later, head back but stop by the Sugar Mill Hotel, a 400-year old sugar mill. It has an excellent on-site restaurant so be sure to make reservations for dinner! Drive back to Long Bay Beach resort to freshen up and relax. Virgin Gorda is home to The Baths, a unique formation of gigantic beachside boulders which form a series of pools and underwater grottos. A trail leads to the stunning beach at Devil’s Bay. Aside from the swimming and snorkelling, there are so many small caves and grottoes to explore. Another option is to hike Virgin Gorda Peak if you have time. There is a tower for a breathtaking view! For dining, Mad Dog is a wooden built bar close to the famous Baths serving great Pina Coladas and sandwiches or you can cool off in the pool at “The Top of the Baths” restaurant and enjoy browsing in the boutiques and shops. Make a reservation through bestofbvi.com for a round-trip fare. You may be tempted to never leave this island but alas, you will need to return back to Tortola. This island is home of the Soggy Dollar Bar, Foxy’s Taboo, and the Bubbly Pool. It is also the home of the famous beach bar cocktail, the Painkiller, Soggy Dollar Bar gets its name from the wet dollar bills spent by patrons forced to swim ashore from their vessel because there is no dock. Foxy’s Taboo is visited daily by locals with big personalities, including the owner Foxy himself. If you are lucky enough to visit when Foxy is behind the bar, you might be surprised with a personalized impromptu song about your journey to the Virgin Islands. If you are looking for more of a non-alcoholic activity, just a short distance from Foxy’s Taboo in Long Bay you will find the famous Bubbly Pool. The Bubbly Pool is a rock formation that creates a small cove of chest deep water. It is a natural jacuzzi!
