Experience the majesty of ancient Egypt at its finest on this 9 day Best of Egypt immersive journey. Cairo, the largest city in the Arab world, the Middle East and Africa, will be home for 4 nights. After the arrival at Cairo International Airport, we offer the "meet and greet" service. Your guide will assist you with obtaining your visa and going through customs. Afterward, you will be transferred in a private car to the hotel for check-in.

Cairo Tour (Grand Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids of Giza & the Great Sphinx)
Your day starts with a visit to the largest archaeological museum in the world, the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). The new structure houses 100,000 masterpieces from several periods of Egypt's glorious history, 20,000 objects of which will be displayed for the first time such as King Tutankhamun's complete collection. After touring the GEM, you will stop at a nice cozy restaurant to have lunch. You will, then, proceed to the one and only standing monument among the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramid of Khufu, followed by The Pyramids of Khafra & Menkaura, the well-preserved valley temple of Khafra, and the Great Sphinx.

Memphis and Sakkara
You will experience the Spiritual Cairo tour and explore some of the early religious monuments of Cairo. You`ll visit the El Muallaqa Church. Make a stop at the Ben Ezra Synagogue. The temple contains a Jewish Heritage Library. After lunch at a local restaurant (Abu Shakra), continue to Memphis, founded around 3 which is the legendary city of Menes, the King who united Upper and Lower Egypt. Proceed to the Sakkara site. Sakkara is one section of the great necropolis of Memphis, the Old Kingdom capital, and where the kings are mostly buried in this section of the Memphis necropolis. .

National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Old Cairo, Citadel of Salah Eldeen
Start the day with a visit to the first authentic museum of civilization in Egypt. The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC). Then, we will stop to have lunch in one of Cairo's best restaurants. We will then continue the Cairo tour with a visit to The Citadel of Mohamed Ali (the Fortress of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi) overlooking the city from the Muqattam Hills and the Alabaster Mosque. Its domed interior, used by Moslems for daily prayers, is a spectacular sight of twinkling lights and beautiful mosaics. We will have a free tour in Khan Al-Khalili Market, which is one of the oldest Egyptian markets, where it is fun to shop Egyptian antiques and souvenirs.

Travel to Aswan, Nile Cruise Sightseeing (Friday)
Early morning, you will arrive at Cairo International Airport to catch the flight to Aswan, where you will start your three night Nile Cruise and cruise to Luxor. After having lunch, there will be an excursion to The Aswan High Dam followed by a visit to the Philae Temple. In the evening you may choose the optional breathtaking sound and light show at Philae Temple.

youwill sail to Kom Ombo in the early morning and visit the Temple of Kom Ombo and continue sailing to Edfu.

Luxor East Bank, Optional Sound and Light Show
Arrive at Edfu and visit the Temple of Edfuin the morning. You will then be back to the ship to have lunch while heading to Luxor. In the afternoon, you will visit Luxor East Bank, beginning with the outstanding Karnak Temple and then the Temple of Luxor. In the evening, you may choose the light and sound show inside the Karnak Temple.

Luxor West Bank
Breakfast will be served on the Nile Cruise, and then we will proceed to the checkout. Early morning, visit Luxor West Bank Necropolis including the Valley of the Kings. This includes the unique two tombs of Rameses V & VI, King Tut's Tomb the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon. There is an optional hot air balloon ride tour that you may choose.
