In January of 2015, I suddenly found myself a widow with a young son still at home. Although one door closed forever that day, a new one opened; an opportunity for me to pursue a career in something I’d already been doing online, in photographs, and with my family and friends. Sharing my passion for cruises and travel!

     I am an expert in cruising all mainstream lines as well as Disney trips, either stand alone or as a pre- or post-cruise add on.

     As a Midwesterner located in Indiana, I have heard the term, Hoosier, all my life. In grade school, we studied where the term originated. The truth is, nobody really knows. What it meant in days past is less important than what it means today. A Hoosier is not just a person who lives or is from Indiana. It is a culture; a lifestyle. To be a Hoosier is to be hard-working, honest, view community above self, value authentic relationships, honor tradition and respect authority. The friendly and open nature of Hoosier folks is legendary, as coined in the term Hoosier Hospitality. It probably goes without saying that a healthy dose of Indiana basketball is included! I named my travel business, Hoosier Cruise & Travel, as both a geographic reference and a pledge to always conduct business in an open, honest manner befitting a true Hoosier.

     A Hoosier is all about family. I love working with families looking for multi-generational travel, trips for those seeking quality time with their immediate family, or couples looking to reconnect and remember why they had a family in the first place!

     A Hoosier works hard, but plays hard, too. I love planning bucket-list trips, because we never know what life has in store. I have traveled and planned those once-in-a-lifetime trips to places like Alaska, Hawaii, and Europe. I have the experience to plan unique experiences for unforgettable memories!A Hoosier is adaptable. I am experienced in food allergy travel. As a Celiac, an auto-immune disease triggered by proteins in wheat, barley and rye, I must maintain a gluten-free lifestyle. I understand and commiserate with the difficulty that food allergy suffers have when traveling away from the safe routines they’ve established in their homes and communities. While nothing is guaranteed when traveling, I can be an invaluable tool in assisting food allergy travelers with plans that maximize their food safety from direct and cross-contamination. My favorite food allergy travel is cruising. With over 25 cruises sailed, I can show you all the advantages cruising has to offer whether you have a food allergy or not!

     A Hoosier is humble and honest. I have 3 decades of travel experience, but each trip is fresh and new, as I never forget how grateful I am to be able to travel. I book each vacation for my clients as if it were my own. I am not afraid to admit when a particular type of travel or destination would be a better served by another consultant. My goal is to find my client’s the perfect vacation fit above just making a sale!
